PROMPT

Implementation of woven fabric textile composite based electrodes with notable photovoltaic performance remains a key objective in the development of flexible solar cells. In this research, a novel photonic woven textile anode using polyester plain woven-based conductive and hydrophobic layers is developed to ensure both high light transmission and effective electrical conduction. In other to enhance electrical conductivity, copper nanoparticles are coated based on electroless deposition technic which is obtained a surface resistance of 0.46 Ω/sq. Also, a polypropylene film laminate is applied to improve hydrophobic properties and achieving of a water contact angle of 82° and moreover effectively preventing of moisture infiltration. Utilizing of low-density polyester woven fabric as the base, the textile composite anode achieved 48% light transmittance within the visible spectrum after layer deposition. This photonic woven fabric textile composite anode exhibits characteristics comparable to traditional conductive glass materials such as ITO, and to present a viable alternative for future transparent conductive substrates.
